Szuter Treatment Systems installs and services septic systems in Northeast Ohio. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable tech/laborer to join our team. As a technician and laborer , you will be responsible for performing various duties to support our operations including plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on various septic systems as well as regular septic maintenance. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and already possesses some skills but is willing to learn more and expand on their specific skills. This position is primarily outdoors during all types of weather.
Duties:
- Operate machinery or train to operate machinery
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
-Perform repairs on septic systems
-Perform routine services on septic systems
-Troubleshoot electrical issues with septic systems
-Repair and install plumbing
-Follow company record keeping procedures for services performed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Mechanical knowledge is required
-Electrical experience and knowledge is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
